Nguyen Cong Do

Nguyen Cong Do is a frontend engineer at Pod Foods. Prior to this, they served as Chief Technology Officer at Pod Foods from November 2017 to August 2021. In this role, they were responsible for building a content delivery network (clicklion.com) as a core team member. Nguyen also developed a Python component which automatically extracts titles, body contents, published dates, authors and other metadata from any article HTML page.

Do's previous experience includes full stack developer and data engineer roles at Shock Media Group from April 2014 to June 2017. In these roles, they took part in both back-end and front-end development and also developed an algorithm to score and recommend the highest-scored articles to visitors, which considers a lot of factors: article budget, current CTR, relevance score, historical stats, etc.

Do's technology stack includes MongoDB, Redis, Ruby on Rails, Foundation, HTML, CSS, Javascript, and Python. Nguyen is also skilled in Apache Spark and Go.

Nguyen Cong Do attended Vietnam National University, Hanoi where they earned their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
