Brett Swann

Brett Swann is a seasoned embedded software engineering professional with extensive experience in the field. Currently serving as Principal Embedded Software Engineer at Pod Point since January 2023, Brett previously held key positions at Eurotherm by Schneider Electric, including Firmware Principal Project Design Leader and Senior Embedded Software Designer from March 2017 to January 2023. Prior to that, Brett was the Embedded Software Team Leader at Conlog from February 2011 to January 2017, where leadership involved developing firmware for an AMI Data Concentrator supporting wireless electricity meters. Brett began the career as an Embedded Software Engineer and later as a Junior Embedded Software Engineer. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science (MSc) and a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Electronic Engineering from the University of KwaZulu-Natal, completed in 2009-2010 and 2005-2008, respectively.
