Ian Govier

Ian Govier is an accomplished marketing and communications professional with extensive experience across various organizations. Currently serving as the Head of Go-to-Market at Pod since October 2022, Ian leads the Go-to-Market team, overseeing marketing strategy, brand management, public affairs, and product marketing. Previously at EDF (UK) for over a decade, Ian held multiple senior roles in strategic and digital communications, where notable achievements included launching impactful tools aimed at carbon emissions awareness and leading comprehensive corporate content strategies. Ian's career began in customer experience and compliance roles, demonstrating a solid foundation in both marketing and customer engagement. Ian holds a BA (Hons) in Media Practice and Society from the University of Plymouth.
