Jan Michael Tan

Jan Michael Tan has a long and varied work experience. Jan Michael began their career in 2007 as Managing Partner at Crepholics Co. Jan Michael then moved to MCN Distributors Inc. as Marketing Manager in 2008. In 2010, they took on two roles: Equity Sales Manager at UTrade by Unicapital Securities, Inc. and Portfolio Consultant at NGF Foundation. In 2012, they became Proprietary Equity Trader at Amalgamated Investment Bancorporation and in 2014 they were appointed Managing Partner at Vanguard Alliance Premier Consultants, Inc. In 2019, they took on the role of Business Development Consultant at Mercantile Securities Inc. and in 2020 they became Co-Founder of Vanguard AI Analytics, Inc. and CFO of Podcast Network Asia.

Jan Michael Tan has a diverse educational background. Jan Michael obtained a Bachelor of Science in Marketing Management from De La Salle University in 2009. Jan Michael then attended the University of Santo Tomas and obtained a Graduate School Certificate in Certified Securities Specialist in 2011. In 2011, they also obtained a Certified Capital Market Professional from the Securities and Exchange Commission Philippines. Jan Michael then went on to obtain a Certified Financial Consultant from the Institute of Financial Consultants in 2017. In 2020, they obtained an Advanced Trading Technology certification from Modulus, a Corporate Financial Decision-Making for Value Creation certification from the University of Melbourne via Coursera, a Global Trends for Business and Society certification from Wharton Online, a Supply Chain Logistics certification from Rutgers University via Coursera, and an Entrepreneurship in Emerging Economies certification from HarvardX - An Online Learning Initiative by Harvard University through edX. In 2019, they obtained a Digital Marketing Plan certification from Mansmith and Fielders and a Marketing Strategy and Plans certification from Mansmith and Fielders. Jan Michael also obtained a Cinematography certification from Mowelfund Film Institute in 2004. Jan Michael Tan is currently pursuing a Masters Degree in Financial Engineering at De La Salle University.
