Richard Fitzgerald

Richard Fitzgerald is a seasoned entrepreneur and media executive with extensive experience in digital media and content creation. As the Founder and CEO of Augustus Media since August 2015, Richard has led the company to become a prominent player in the Middle Eastern digital media landscape, driving innovation and growth. Additional ventures include founding ODEUM Content Studio, Lovin’ Saudi, and Smashi, all aimed at connecting brands with audiences through diverse media formats. Richard also serves as a Media Investor at Fitzy Fund, holds a board position at Podeo, and has served on several committees, including the IAB GCC and Irish Business Network Dubai. With a background in social media management at leading agencies such as Mindshare and MEC, Richard combines strategic insight with hands-on experience across various platforms. Richard's academic credentials include a BA in International Economics and German from University College Dublin and a diploma in Internet Marketing from Dublin Business School.
