Pete Curley

Pete Curley has worked in the tech industry since 2005. Pete started as the Founder and CEO of HipCal, a web-based calendar. In 2006, they became the Head of Product at Plaxo, Inc. where they helped turn around the brand with a new product called Plaxo Pulse. In 2009, they founded and became the CEO of HipChat, the first team messaging service. In 2012, HipChat was acquired by Atlassian, and Pete became the HipChat Founder. In 2016, they founded Podhero, a Twitter-powered podcast discovery service. Finally, in 2022, they became the Interim CEO of Allelo.

Pete Curley attended Cheverus High School from 1998 to 2002, where they earned their High School Diploma. Pete then attended Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute from 2002 to 2006, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Electronic Media, Arts, and Communication.
