Nicole (Nikki) Hemingway

Nicole (Nikki) H.'s work experience includes roles in various companies and positions. Nicole (Nikki) started their career in 2010 as a Graduate Assistant at the New Student Programs Office at the University of Maine. From 2012 to 2017, they worked at International Studies Abroad (ISA) as the Regional Director and later as the Assistant Director of University Relations. In 2018, they worked as a Program Consultant at Remote Year. In 2019, they joined WorldStrides as an Account Manager for Custom Faculty-led Travel Programs. Most recently, they have been with Podium Education, starting as a Student Success Advisor in 2021 and later becoming the Student Success Team Lead in 2022.

Nicole (Nikki) H. began their education journey in 2004 at the University of Maine, where they pursued a Bachelor of Art degree in Cultural Anthropology and Business Administration. Nicole (Nikki) completed their undergraduate studies in 2010. In the same year, they also enrolled at the University of Maine for their Masters of Education degree, specializing in Higher Education and International Education. Nicole (Nikki) graduated from their master's program in 2012.

During their education, Nikki also had additional learning experiences. In 2011, they participated in a Semester At Sea program with ISE, where they studied Student Affairs at Sea and gained international perspectives on higher education. In 2012, they further enhanced their academic background by completing an Intensive Spanish Language program at Universidad LCI Veritas in San Jose, Costa Rica.
