Maria Medel has worked in a variety of roles since 2011. Maria began their career as a Lead Sales Associate at AMERICAN EAGLE OUTFITTERS INC. in 2011. In 2015, they became an Executive Assistant to the CEO at Viswa Lab Corporation, where they were responsible for creating marketing materials, processing daily accounts receivable/payable entries, acting as a liaison for clients, and organizing and managing real estate endeavors for commercial properties. Maria also coordinated the schedule and daily tasks of the CEO. In 2016, they worked as a GIS Technician via Apex Systems at Apple. In 2017, they became a Career Services at Vandelay Education. Finally, in 2018, they began working at PoE Texas, where they have held the roles of Director of Customer Relations, Customer Success Manager, and Customer Support Analyst. In their current role, they form a direct relationship with customers and provides them with timely value propositions to help customers achieve their goals while simultaneously strengthening their relationship with the business. Maria also coordinates and leads technical training for new products, and product updates, and manages key customer accounts to track projections, inventory, individualized troubleshooting, and support to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
Maria Medel obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies from Baylor University between 2010 and 2015. Maria also holds certifications from Grapevine, HubSpot, and Esri. These include Founding Member of Austin Women in Tech for Good (2023), Frictionless Sales and Inbound Sales (2022), 3D Analysis of Surfaces and Features, Creating 3D Data, Introduction to Surface Modeling, Regression Analysis, and Building Models for GIS Analysis.
