David Cotten

David Cotten currently serves as Vice President of Engineering and Project Management at POET, a role held since June 2021, where oversight includes operations engineering, product development engineering, design engineering, and project management teams. Prior to this, David held various positions at Flint Hills Resources, including Regional Vice President and General Manager from March 2019 to June 2021, as well as Plant Manager and Director of Technical Services, focusing on process technology and project management from July 2008 to March 2017. David's career also includes significant roles at Huntsman and Flint Hills Resources, where responsibilities spanned reliability management and engineering positions from June 1995 to June 2008. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Texas A&M University, completed in 1995.
