Tyler Miles

Tyler Miles has extensive experience in the biorefinery sector, currently serving as Operations Engineer and Plant Manager at POET since April 2014. In this role, Tyler Miles supports the management of 27 starch biorefineries and one cellulosic biorefinery, focusing on the production of ethanol, distiller's grain, beverage-grade CO2, and high-quality corn oil. Previously, as an Engineering Intern at POET in 2013, Tyler Miles conducted research on corn oil optimization technologies and developed a Caustic Usage Report for leak detection and tracking. Tyler Miles holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering with a Minor in Sustainable Energy Systems from South Dakota State University, obtained in 2014.
