Fred Sasaki has extensive experience in the arts, currently serving as the Creative Director at the Poetry Foundation since August 2001, with various roles including Interim Coeditor, Art Director, Cocurator of Exhibitions, Associate Editor, Assistant Editor, and Editorial Assistant. Additionally, Fred is an Active Member of the Art Leaders of Color Network, which focuses on empowering artists of color, and serves as President of the Revolving Door Arts Foundation. Since 2009, Fred has also been the Curator of the School Night Info Show at Homeroom. Previous roles include Circulation Assistant at The Newberry and positions at the Chicago Symphony Orchestra and WTTW/Chicago PBS. Fred holds a degree from Boston University, completed in 1998.
