Martín Gómez is an experienced leader in the library and cultural sectors, currently serving as President and CEO of mjgomezassociates LLC since March 2017 and President of the Board of Directors at Poets House, the largest nonprofit poetry library in the United States, since November 2001. Previous roles include Vice Dean of USC Libraries, General Manager and City Librarian at Los Angeles Public Library, and positions on the Board of Directors for Sesame Workshop. Martín has held executive leadership roles at various libraries and organizations, including Executive Director at Brooklyn Public Library and President/CEO of Urban Libraries Council. Martín holds a BA in English from UCLA and an MLS in Library Science from the University of Arizona.
