Rebecca Gee is a seasoned development consultant with extensive experience in fundraising and nonprofit management. Currently serving as a Development Consultant at Poets House, responsibilities include developing annual fundraising plans, grant management, and organizing special events. As a self-employed freelance consultant since April 2020, Rebecca has supported various nonprofits with grant writing and capacity building. Previous roles include Director of Development at Bellevue Literary Press and Hudson Hall, managing development strategies and special events, and serving as Faculty at The Writers Studio, where Rebecca taught creative writing and conducted workshops for dyslexic students. With academic credentials including an MFA in Poetry & Fiction from Bennington College and an MFA from the University of Illinois Chicago, Rebecca combines artistic expertise with a strong foundation in nonprofit development.
