Ameer Ishak

Ameer Ishak is an experienced manager and educator currently serving at Point Avenue since December 2021. Prior to this role, Ameer held significant positions including Head Coach of English Debate at the Center for Foundation Studies IIUM from September 2020 to July 2023, and instructor at the Malaysian Institute for Debate and Public Speaking from January 2019 to August 2021, where skills such as public speaking and critical thinking were taught to students aged 10-16. Ameer also worked as a content and marketing officer, and instructed debate workshops in China, showcasing expertise in teaching and content development. Ameer contributed to a documentary as a scriptwriter with SUHAKAM and gained initial experience in sales and office roles. Ameer earned a Bachelor of Human Sciences degree in English Language and Literature from the International Islamic University Malaysia from 2016 to 2020.
