Sarah Deback

Sarah deBack currently serves as a Human Resources Specialist at Pacific Lutheran University and a Zoo Camp Instructor at Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium. In previous roles, Sarah has contributed to various organizations, including serving as the Director of Public Relations for the University of Puget Sound Panhellenic and IFC, where responsibilities included publicizing Greek events and managing communications. With experience as a Seasonal Naturalist at Northwest Trek Wildlife Park and multiple positions within Gamma Phi Beta International Sorority, such as Social Chair and Vice President of Membership, Sarah demonstrates strong leadership and communication skills. Sarah holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from the University of Puget Sound, where graduation is anticipated in May 2024, and has a background in experiential learning through roles like Animal Keeper and Senior Interpretive Guide at Lindsay Wildlife Experience.
