Barbara Farris

Barbara Farris is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in accounting and financial management. Currently, Farris serves as the Managing Member at Point of Light Consulting since October 2024. Prior to this role, Farris worked at Denbury Resources Inc. from April 2011 to September 2024, holding various positions including Assistant Controller of Corporate Accounting, Internal Reporting Manager, Financial Analyst, and Corporate Accounting Supervisor. Farris has also gained valuable experience at Crosstex Energy Services as Financial Reporting Manager and Financial Reporting Accountant, and at CDX Gas, LLC as Accountant II. Early career experience includes a position as an Accountant at The Heritage Organization, L.L.C. Farris holds a Master of Science in Accounting & Information Management from the Naveen Jindal School of Management at UT Dallas and bachelor's degrees in Finance and Psychology from Southern Methodist University.
