Aaron Nathan

CEO & Co-Founder at Point One Navigation

Aaron Nathan is the CEO and Co-Founder of Point One Navigation. Aaron has over 10 years of experience in the technology industry, leading several high visibility initiatives including Hightail Spaces, the replacement for Hightail's legacy flagship application. Other successful initiatives include scaling Hightail's critical infrastructure, rebuilding the desktop software, reducing latency in uploads and downloads of customer files, and instituting best practices for continuous integration and delivery of new software across a development team of 100+ engineers.

Prior to joining Point One Navigation, Aaron was the Vice President of Technology at Hightail from September 2013 to April 2015. In this role, they worked with other design and product leaders to help translate concepts into actionable work and provided suggestions that dramatically reduced technical complexity without sacrificing usability. Aaron also worked directly with company executives on concept work for new products and led a skunk works team to rapidly translate these ideas into functional prototypes and to full production scale.

Before Hightail, Aaron was the CTO and Founder of Adept Cloud, Inc., which was acquired by Hightail in November 2011. At Adept Cloud, they were responsible for all aspects of technology, including architecture, development, operations, and support.

Aaron Nathan attended Northern Highlands Regional HS before Cornell University where they obtained their B.S in Electrical and Computer Engineering. Afterwards, they went on to get their Masters of Engineering in Computer Science also from Cornell University.
