Eric Groonwald, CRCM

Eric Groonwald has a diverse work experience in the compliance and risk management field. Eric is currently the Head of Compliance at Point since February 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Figure as the Sr. Director of Compliance from September 2018 to February 2021. Eric also served as the Regulatory Business Control Manager at Union Bank from September 2017 to September 2018. Before that, they held the position of Bank Compliance Manager at State Farm Bank from May 2012 to September 2017. Eric began their career at GMAC Mortgage, where they held multiple roles including Loan Officer Licensing Team Lead, Loan Officer Licensing Specialist, State Examination Specialist, and Compliance Monitoring and Testing Analyst from 2005 to 2012. Eric started their professional journey as a Compliance and Risk Management Intern at Wells Fargo Home Mortgage from June 2001 to May 2005. Eric's extensive experience demonstrates their expertise in compliance and risk management within the financial industry.

Eric Groonwald, CRCM, pursued their education at Minnesota State University, Mankato. From 2001 to 2005, they attended the university without specifying a specific degree or field of study. Later, from 2008 to 2011, Eric earned a Masters in Public Administration from the same institution.
