Jordan Taekema

Jordan Taekema has a range of experience as a software engineer, starting with their most recent position at Point in 2020. At Stripe from 2017 to 2019, they worked on developing alternative payment methods, including designing merchant-facing APIs and documentation, as well as backend partner APIs. Jordan was also involved in cross-team and company-wide initiatives, such as preparing for Brexit and implementing localized data storage. Prior to that, from 2013 to 2017, Jordan worked at Demonware, where they developed online services and features for various games, including Call of Duty and Diablo. Jordan also contributed to tools and automation for load testing and verification. Jordan's career began in 2007 with co-op roles at RIM and CMAEON, where they gained experience in software development and tools, working with technologies such as VB.net, ASP.net, Oracle, C#.net, MS SQL, HTML, JavaScript, and PHP. Jordan's work experience showcases their expertise in software engineering and their ability to contribute to a wide range of projects and initiatives.

Jordan Taekema attended Camosun College from 2003 to 2004, where they pursued a field of study in Computer Science. Following this, they enrolled at the University of Victoria from 2004 to 2010. During this time, Jordan obtained a Bachelor of Software Engineering degree, specializing in Software Engineering.
