Matt Hummel, FSA, FRM has a diverse work experience in the insurance and financial industry. Matt is currently working at Point32Health as the Director of Pricing - Seniors Products. Prior to that, Matt worked at Cigna where they held multiple roles including Business Analytics Director, Financial Analysis Senior Manager, Actuarial Senior Specialist, and Actuarial Specialist. Before joining Cigna, Matt worked at De Lage Landen as a Business Intelligence Consultant and Business Analyst. In these positions, they were responsible for developing and maintaining various reports, leading report development for different regions, and developing tools for risk-reward pricing evaluations and loss pool analysis.

Matt Hummel, FSA, FRM, completed their education in a chronological order. Matt first obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Business/Managerial Economics and a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Mathematics from Ursinus College. Matt attended Ursinus College from 2006 to 2010. After that, they pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) in Financial Engineering from the Fox School of Business at Temple University between 2013 and 2015. Additionally, Matt has obtained two additional certifications, namely the FSA (Fellow of the Society of Actuaries) from the Society of Actuaries in August 2018 and the Certified FRM (Certified Financial Risk Manager) from the Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP) in July 2015.
