Arjun Roy

Arjun Roy is a seasoned technology professional currently serving as a Technical Lead in Research Compute Engineering at Point72 since November 2023, focusing on high-performance computing and grid compute infrastructure to support quantitative research. Previously, Arjun spent nearly two decades at Citi, where roles included Senior Vice President of Kubernetes Engineering, overseeing a global team responsible for the architecture of an enterprise private cloud with extensive computational resources. Additional positions at Citi involved leadership in high-performance computing architecture, systematic trading platforms, and engineering solutions for order management systems. Earlier in the career, Arjun worked as a System Engineer at Island ECN, contributing to trading systems and back-end infrastructure. Arjun holds a degree from Rutgers College of Engineering, obtained in June 1998.
