Brian Murphy

Brian Murphy is an experienced finance professional with a strong background in securities lending and portfolio finance. Currently serving as Head of Securities Lending and Global Head of Securities Lending at Point72 since April 2014, Brian has previously held positions as Vice President at SAC Capital and Senior Account Manager at Fidelity Capital Markets. Brian's early career includes roles at Goldman Sachs and Co. as a Trader in Securities Lending and an Electronic Execution Derivative Sales Associate, as well as a Summer Associate position. Brian began a military career as a Marine Corps Officer Recruiter and Flight Officer, where responsibilities included recruiting officer candidates and serving as an Electronic Warfare Expert. Brian holds an MBA in Quantitative Finance from NYU Stern School of Business and a BS in Economics from the United States Naval Academy.
