Guillaume Gimonet

Guillaume Gimonet is an experienced financial technology professional currently serving as the Head of Global Treasury Technology at Point72 since November 2019. Previously, Guillaume held significant positions including Chief Technology Officer at Soros Fund Management, where responsibilities included managing infrastructures and cyber-security, and Head of Modeling and Technology at Element Capital Management, overseeing quantitative and risk modeling. A long tenure at Credit Suisse featured roles as Managing Director in Risk Capital Management, while earlier positions at Merrill Lynch and Groupe Caisse des Dépôts focused on quantitative strategies and fixed income trading. Guillaume began a career in finance as a Research Intern at BNP Paribas Asset Management after obtaining a Master’s degree in Applied Mathematics from Ecole nationale des Ponts et Chaussées.
