James Kobus

James Kobus is a seasoned analyst specializing in utilities, renewables, and clean technology. Currently serving as a Senior Analyst at Point72 since November 2021, James previously held the position of Investment Analyst at LNZ Capital from June 2020 to November 2021, focusing on power and clean tech investments. Prior experience includes a role at the Center on Global Energy Policy as a published author and researcher on sustainable finance, as well as consulting for the World Bank's Regional Off-Grid Electrification Project through GreenMax Capital Advisors. Earlier in the career, James gained valuable insights while working at The D. E. Shaw Group and Morgan Stanley in various analytical positions within the energy sector.
