John Councill

John Councill is currently working as a Risk Manager at Point72 with a focus on Equities Risk Management. With previous experience at Goldman Sachs in various roles including Vice President of Quantitative Investment Strategies, John has a strong background in investment management. Prior to their finance career, John served in the US Army as an Aide-de-camp to a Commanding General and as an Infantry Officer, leading troops in Iraq. John is a graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and Harvard Kennedy School.
