Shane Bannon

Shane Bannon is a seasoned professional in market intelligence research, currently serving as Co-Head of Market Intelligence Research and Head of Canvas FRG at Point72 since September 2013. Bannon has held various roles within the firm, including Associate Director and Vice President of Fundamental Research focused on healthcare. Prior to Point72, Bannon worked at SAC Capital as a Fundamental Research Analyst and was a professional football player for the Kansas City Chiefs, where Bannon played as a fullback/tight end after being selected in the 7th round of the NFL Draft. Bannon holds a BA in Political Science from Yale University, earned in 2011, and graduated from Pomperaug Regional High School in 2007.
