Zhan Onayev

Zhan Onayev is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in risk management and quantitative research. Currently serving as a Risk Manager at Point72 since July 2023, Zhan previously held the position of Senior Portfolio Manager at Exos from August 2022 to June 2023. Prior roles include Portfolio Manager/Analyst at Lazard Asset Management, Senior Analyst at Pelorus Jack Capital, and Director of Quantitative Research at Passport Capital Management. Zhan's career began at SSGA, where multiple roles included Senior Quantitative Research Analyst and Quantitative Research Analyst. Zhan also provided consulting services at The World Bank from 2004 to 2005. Zhan obtained a PhD in Finance from The George Washington University, where studies were completed between 2001 and 2005.
