Steve Southwick

Steve Southwick has a wealth of work experience, beginning in 2007 as an Investment Banking Analyst for Barclays Capital. Steve then moved to Sorenson Capital in 2009 as a Private Equity Associate. In 2012, they were a Summer Associate for Enlightenment Capital and in 2013 they became Vice President for THL Credit, Inc. In 2018, they acted as an Online Adjunct Instructor for Brigham Young University - Idaho. In 2017, they were an Advisory Board member for CE Zoom and a CEO and Founder of Pointful Education, a leading provider of cutting-edge career and elective courses to secondary and post-secondary students. In 2020, they became a Finance Consultant for Array.

Steve Southwick has a diverse educational background. Steve holds a Bachelor of Science from Brigham Young University, an International Exchange from HEC Paris, and an International MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business with concentrations in Entrepreneurship and Economics. Steve also holds the CFA Charterholder certification from CFA Institute, which they obtained in 2011. In addition, they have obtained several certifications from Coursera, such as Advanced Instructional Strategies in the Virtual Classroom, Emerging Trends & Technologies in the Virtual K-12 Classroom, Performance Assessment in the Virtual Classroom, Foundations of Virtual Instruction, Analyzing Global Trends for Business and Society, Exploring Beethoven’s Piano Sonatas, Gamification, and New Models of Business in Society.
