Orhan Geçen

Orhan Geçen is the current Backend Lead at Pointr. Prior to this, they were a Software Team Lead at TCHEALTH Bilgi Teknolojileri A.Ş. from April 2021 to December 2021. There, they were responsible for analysis, project management, and team leadership from the beginning to the projects developed within the institution.

Under their leadership, the software team of 6 people completed the transition of old projects in the institution to .net core. They also completed establishing the Devops culture internally and completed the automatic deployment of all the applications they have developed and transformed on linux with TFS integration on docker.

Some of the notable projects Orhan has developed include Turkey Pharmaceutical Price Regulation and Determination System, E-CTD-Electronic Process Management Application-Intranet Application, Pharmacist Placement System, On Duty Pharmacy Management System, TITCK Startup Sedap, Log Center, and Core Management System.

Orhan is skilled in using various technologies such as .Net Core, Asp .NET MVC, PostgreSQL, Sql Server, Redis, and Elastic Search.

Orhan Geçen has a MSc and BS in Computer Engineering from Baskent University.

Orhan Geçen reports to Can Akpinar, Founder & CTO. They are on a team with Edip Toplan - Mobile Lead, Elican Doenyas - VP, Software Delivery, and Mesut Gölcük - Web Lead.
