Alix Towler is an experienced festival producer with a strong background in managing events within the film industry. Currently serving as a Festival Producer at Points North Institute since August 2018, Alix has successfully overseen special events and after dark parties for the Camden International Film Festival. In addition to this role, Alix is involved with several other festivals, including the Full Frame Documentary Film Festival as a Venue Team Producer and the True/False Film Fest as a Late Night Events Producer. Previous positions include Director of Training and Staff Development at Preble Street, Lending Supervisor and Safety Specialist at Portland Public Library, and Venue Manager at Milwaukee Film. Alix's educational credentials include a MSW from the University of Hawaii at Manoa and a BA in Journalism and Native American History from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
