Jocelyn Nelson is a seasoned professional in corporate social impact and fundraising, currently serving as the Director of Corporate Social Impact Consulting at Points of Light since January 2024. With over 15 years of experience, Jocelyn has excelled in various leadership roles, including Director of External Affairs at Chicago Cares, where strategic relationships and resources were cultivated to enhance community-centric fundraising and corporate social responsibility initiatives. Jocelyn co-founded the Liberation Library, impacting incarcerated youth across Illinois, and has held multiple positions focused on program development and community engagement within organizations such as Youth & Opportunity United and the City of Philadelphia Mural Arts Program. Jocelyn holds a BA in English, Creative Writing, and Italian from Bryn Mawr College and has furthered education at the University of Pennsylvania Graduate School of Education.
