Vanessa Diamond

Vanessa Diamond is an accomplished leader in nonprofit and civic engagement, currently serving as EVP of Global Network and Nonprofit Programs at Points of Light since March 2025. Prior to this role, Vanessa held the position of SVP of Civic Innovations at The Community Foundation for a Greater Richmond from January 2018 to March 2025 and directed operations at HandsOn Greater Richmond as Director of HandsOn RVA and Vice President of the Partnership for Nonprofit Excellence from December 2007 to December 2017. Vanessa began a career rooted in service and community engagement with roles at Virginia Commonwealth University, Northwest Service Academy, and Youth Volunteer Corps. Vanessa holds a Master of Public Administration from Virginia Commonwealth University and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from North Carolina State University.
