Charles Guirriec

Charles Guirriec is an experienced professional in sustainable marine and agricultural practices. As the Founder of Poiscaille since January 2014, Charles has focused on providing fresh, sustainable, and ethical seafood alternatives. Prior experience includes a role as Chargé de mission Energie at the Ministère de l'Écologie, du Développement durable et de l’Énergie from January 2009 to April 2016, and as a Fisheries Technician at Cofrepeche from July 2007 to August 2008, where Charles observed fishing practices on Mediterranean and coastal vessels. Additionally, Charles served as Chargé de mission Installation at the COMITE REGIONAL DE LA CONCHYLICULTURE ARCACHON AQUITAINE, assisting new oyster farmers with project development and stakeholder engagement. Charles holds engineering degrees in Halieutique from L'Institut Agro Rennes-Angers and in Agricultural Techniques from Agrosup Dijon.
