Mario Redlegs

Mario RedLegs currently serves as the Chief of Police for the Pokagon Band of Potawatomi, a role taken on in May 2023, focused on enhancing community safety and sovereignty while improving the quality of life for Tribal Citizens. Prior to this position, Mario RedLegs accumulated extensive experience at the U.S. Department of the Interior from January 2001 to May 2023, holding multiple titles including Special Agent in Charge and Assistant Special Agent in Charge. Mario RedLegs began the law enforcement career as a Deputy Sheriff at Big Horn County Sheriff's Office and later served as a Police Officer at the Billings Police Department.
