In 2018, they joined Dood as part of a feasibility analysis for a food delivery startup. This experience sparked their interest in the horeca industry. Later in 2018, Alberto became an Operations Project Manager at Poke House, where they played a key role in the company's growth and expansion. Alberto eventually became the Head of Global Operations, overseeing various business units and coordinating operations across multiple countries. Currently, Alberto is the Chief Operating Officer at Poke House, working closely with the CEO and C-level team to drive the company's strategic decisions and prepare for further expansion.

Alberto Vernazza has a strong educational background in mechanical engineering. Alberto started their education journey at Politecnico di Milano in 2012, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, specializing in Industrial Engineering in 2015.
