A.D. Goodsell has a diverse and extensive work experience in graphic design. They currently hold the position of Graphic Designer III at The Pokémon Company International, a role they have held since December 2022. Prior to this, A.D. worked as a Graphic Designer II from October 2021 to December 2022 and as a Graphic Designer from January 2021 to October 2021 within the same company.
Before joining The Pokémon Company International, A.D. worked at Gear for Sports as an Under Armour Creative Designer from January 2020 to January 2021. In this role, they designed professional and collegiate licensed sport graphics for Under Armour Apparel and served as the lead graphic designer for the Resort Division. They also prepared and presented divisional catalogs for the internal nationwide sales team.
From September 2018 to January 2020, A.D. worked as a Senior Graphic Designer at Open Road Brands, LLC. Here, they were responsible for design, art direction, and line planning for collegiate and MLB licensed collections in the home decor industry. They also managed junior designers and art production designers, as well as researched and developed new product types, processes, and techniques.
From November 2015 to September 2018, A.D. worked at Gear for Sports as a Knights Apparel Creative Designer. In this role, they designed professional and collegiate licensed sport graphics for mass- and mid-tier apparel channels, working with clients such as Walmart, Target, Dick's Sporting Goods, Costco, Meijer, and additional Hot Market requests. Their contributions included assisting in research and development of new printing processes with a focus on production cost.
Prior to these roles, A.D. worked at ONS Clothing as a Creative Image Manager from September 2014 to November 2015. Here, they researched, strategized, managed, and designed graphics for a menswear apparel brand, as well as prepared apparel graphics for factory production.
From April 2010 to September 2014, A.D. worked at Global Brands Group as a Graphic/CAD Designer. They were responsible for designing graphics, embroidery, and appliqué for various labels, including Daisy Fuentes, Nicole Miller, Ellen Tracy, Adrienne Vittadini, Design Nation for Kohl's, Sketchers, and Keds. They also prepared designs for overseas production.
Earlier in their career, A.D. worked as a Contractor's Assistant at Baron II Construction from March 2009 to April 2010, and as a Jr. Graphic Designer at Phoenix Design Works from August 2008 to March 2009.
A.D. Goodsell pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design from Susquehanna University between the years 2004 and 2008.
