Adam Vandenberg has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Adam is currently a Principal Software Engineer at The Pokémon Company International, a position they have held since June 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at the same company from May 2018 to June 2021.
Before joining The Pokémon Company International, Adam worked as a Developer at Dev9 from March 2016 to May 2018. Here, they were responsible for building client solutions using Spring Boot and Apache Storm, and implementing continuous delivery with Jenkins and Ansible.

Prior to Amazon, Adam worked at The Amazing Society as a Sr. Engineer from May 2009 to September 2011. Here, they built back-end servers for Marvel Superhero Squad Online and implemented web services and event processors using Python and Java.
Adam began their career at Semiconductor Research Corporation as an Off-site contractor from January 2009 to May 2009. Adam then worked as a Software Developer from August 2005 to December 2008, where they developed line-of-business applications, websites, and build systems using .NET, Python, and Django.
Adam also has experience as the Owner of Flangy Software from March 2004 to August 2005 and as a Software Engineer in Mission Tools at Monolith Productions from October 2003 to July 2005.
Adam's early work experience includes their role as a Software Design Engineer at Microsoft from May 1998 to September 2001.
Adam Vandenberg attended Case Western Reserve University from 1994 to 1998, where they obtained a Master's degree in Computer Science.
