Dave Bakshani

Dave Bakshani has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. Dave began their career as a Data Systems Assistant at the State of Hawaii Department of Health in 1990 before moving on to become a Computer Aided Design & Drafting Technician at SYNCADD Systems Inc. in 1991. Dave then worked as a Senior Network/Systems Support Analyst at Ernst & Young from 1998 to 1999. In 2000, they held the roles of Consultant at Stellarsoft Asia Pacific Sdn. Bhd., GIS Consultant at KA One Holdings Sdn. Bhd., and Software Developer at SynCADD. In 2007, they joined Expedia Inc. as a Software Dev Engineer, specializing in Release Engineering, and stayed in that role until 2012 when they were promoted to Senior Software Dev Engineer (DevOps, Resilience Engineering). Dave worked at Expedia until 2020 and currently serves as a Senior DevOps Engineer at The Pokémon Company International, starting in May 2020.

Dave Bakshani attended Hawaii Pacific University from 1987 to 1990 and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Information Systems.
