Jamis Moy

Jamis Moy has a diverse work experience that spans multiple industries. Jamis began their career as a Sales Associate at Seattle Team Shop in 2013, where they provided customer assistance and managed inventory. In 2014, they worked as a General Maintenance Worker for the Bellevue School District, gaining knowledge in HVAC, electrician, and construction work.

In 2015, Jamis joined Echodyne Corp as an Engineering Intern, where they developed a radar testbed system and scripted data analysis algorithms in MATLAB. Jamis then moved on to Tata Consultancy Services in 2016, working as an Electrical Test Engineer for Navistar International. In this role, they collaborated with offshore development teams, received automotive domain training, and executed Design Verification Plans.

Jamis then transitioned to Microsoft in 2018 as a Software Development Engineer in Test (Contract) for the Surface Team. Their responsibilities included developing features for a validation tool and migrating source code to new repositories. Jamis then joined Amazon in 2020 as a Quality Assurance Engineer and later a Software Development Engineer in Test, where they tested software systems for Amazon Scout, an autonomous delivery robot.

Currently, Jamis is employed at The Pokémon Company International as a Software Development Engineer in Test.

Jamis Moy attended the University of Washington from 2012 to 2016, where they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering Physics/Applied Physics.
