Kahori Matsui

Kahori Matsui has an extensive work experience spanning over two decades. Kahori has held various roles in different companies, showcasing their diverse skills and expertise.

Starting from 1999, Kahori worked as a Strategy Manager at Accenture for seven years. Kahori then joined Recruit in 2006 as a Product Manager, where they served for four years.

In 2010, Kahori joined Softbank Group and held multiple positions, including Senior Manager of Corporate Development from 2012 to 2013 and Senior Manager of Corporate Strategy in the CEO's office from 2010 to 2012.

In 2013, they moved to SB Product Group as the VP of Strategy until 2014. During the same period, they also served as a Member of the Board of Directors at Ustream, Inc.

From 2013 to 2016, Kahori worked at SoftBank U.S. as the VP of Strategy and Business Development.

Kahori then joined SoftBank Investment Advisers in 2016 as the Director of the Operating Group, where they remained until 2020.

Later in 2020, Kahori joined the International Finance Corporation (IFC) as a Senior Investment Officer, a position they held until 2022.

Kahori'smost recent role is as the Chief of Staff and Head of Corporate Development at The Pokémon Company International, which they started in August 2022.

Kahori Matsui has a BA in International Affairs from International Christian University. Kahori also holds an MA in International/Global Studies from UC San Diego.
