Kara Kansaku has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. Kara currently works as a Graphic Designer III at The Pokémon Company International, a position they started in April 2022. Kara Kansaku has a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Printmaking from the California College of the Arts, which they obtained from 2011 to 2015. Prior to that, they attended FIDM from 2009 to 2011, where they earned an Associate of Arts degree in Graphic Design with an emphasis in Branding. In addition to their formal education, Kara obtained a certification as a Certified Shochu Advisor from the Sake School of America in September 2020.
