Lisa Abe has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. In 2011, they began their career as a Research Assistant at the University of Washington, where they were involved in various research projects and developed skills in data analysis and presentation. From 2013 to 2016, they worked as a Coordinator for International Relations (CIR) at the City of Osaka, where they likely focused on promoting international communication and relations. In 2016, Lisa joined Nintendo as an Associate Localization Specialist, where they provided translation and interpretation services to facilitate communication between the North American headquarters and the parent company in Japan. Lisa Abe received a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Psychology from the University of Washington, which they obtained between the years 2009 and 2013. Following this, from 2014 to 2016, they attended Interschool Osaka to study Japanese-English Interpretation and Translation. In 2011 and 2012, Lisa participated in a foreign exchange program at Kobe University. Additionally, they obtained certifications including the BJT Business Japanese Proficiency Test J1+ from The Japan Kanji Aptitude Testing Foundation in July 2015, and the Japanese-Language Proficiency Test N1 from Japan Educational Exchanges and Services, The Japan Foundation in August 2014.
