Mary Balestriere

Mary Balestriere has a diverse work experience in various roles related to content management and technical support. Mary worked as a Business System Analyst at The Pokémon Company International starting in 2017. Prior to that, they were an Intranet Engagement Manager and SharePoint Specialist at Vertafore from 2014 to 2017, where they were responsible for content management and technical support for the company intranet. Before Vertafore, they worked at Pearson Australia Group as an Online Content Manager from 2011 to 2013, and as a SharePoint Site Editor from 2010 to 2011. In these roles, they managed the intranet community and created and managed site content for Penguin business units. Mary also worked at Penguin Books Australia as an Executive Assistant to Publishing Director from 2004 to 2011, where they gained in-depth knowledge of the publishing business and worked as a Subject Matter Expert on the intranet project team. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated expertise in content management, technical support, and project coordination.

Mary Balestriere has a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Applied Communication Studies from Western Sydney University. Mary also holds a diploma in Engineering Technology (Jewellery) from Melbourne Polytechnic. In addition to their degrees, Mary has obtained several certifications, including Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) from Scrum Alliance in April 2023, Instructional Design from ELVTR in January 2023, Prosci® Certified Change Practitioner from Prosci in October 2022, Achieve Leadership Development Program Graduate from The Achieve Institute in July 2022, Prosci® Taking Charge of Change from Prosci in October 2021, and Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM®) from Scrum Alliance in June 2019.
