Vlad Zaharia

Vlad Zaharia has a diverse work experience in the field of software development. Vlad is currently working as a Senior Software Development Engineer at The Pokémon Company International, where they focus on ensuring a seamless sign-in experience across all Pokémon properties. Prior to this, Vlad worked at Microsoft for several years in various roles, including Senior Software Engineer, GLEAM Director of Membership, Software Engineer II, and Software Engineer. During their time at Microsoft, they contributed to projects such as Application Insights, a tool for application analytics on the Azure Portal.

Vlad also gained valuable experience as a Software Development Engineer Intern at Microsoft, where they worked on the Visual Studio Application Lifecycle Tools team and the Team Foundation Server Agile and Work Item Tracking Experience teams. Additionally, they had a role as a Co-Op Java Developer at Elastic Path Software and as a Software and Web Developer at Tasktop Technologies.

Outside of their professional roles, Vlad has served as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant at The University of British Columbia, assisting in computer science courses.
