Julian Tay

Julian Tay has a wealth of work experience, beginning with their role as a Business Development Intern at Digi-X in 2017. Julian then went on to become a Research Mobility Student at the University of the West of England in 2019. In 2020, Julian worked as a Founder and Host of the Malaysian science podcast, Beyond the Lab, and also held roles as an Operations and R&D Intern at BARformula, a Strategy and Portfolio Analyst at Loob Holding Sdn Bhd, and a Performance Operations Analyst at ZALORA Group. In 2021, they became a Venture Analyst at Sunway iLabs, and in 2022, they took on the role of Growth Strategy & Projects - Senior Analyst at Aonic (Formerly Poladrone), as well as a Consultant (Pro Bono) at The Malaysian SOCIAL Project.

Julian Tay completed a Bachelor of Biotechnology (Hons) at Taylor's University from 2017 to 2020, with a field of study in Biotechnology. Prior to that, they completed a Foundation in Science at Taylor's University from 2016 to 2017.
