Laura Ahto

Laura Ahto is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in leadership roles within major financial institutions. Currently serving as a Board Member at Polar Capital and the Global Give Back Circle, Ahto has held significant positions at BNY Mellon from October 2012 to January 2021, including Chief Operating Officer for Asset Servicing and Digital and President and CEO of The Bank of New York Mellon SA/NV. Prior to this, Ahto was Deputy COO at Baring Asset Management and held senior roles at PIMCO Europe Ltd and Deutsche Bank. Ahto holds an MBA from Cornell Johnson Graduate School of Management and a BA in Economics from Ursinus College.
