Yves Sprunger

Yves Sprunger has a diverse work experience in finance and controlling roles. Yves most recently served as the CFO at Polar Electro Oy since September 2022. Before that, they were the Head of Controlling at u-blox from July 2015 to June 2022. In between, they took a sabbatical leave to pursue a personal adventure by cycling through New Zealand from January to April 2015. Prior to their sabbatical, Yves worked at Kardex as the Director F&A - Business Controller from April 2010 to December 2014. Yves also had experience as a Unit Controller at Alstom Hydro Schweiz from July 2009 to March 2010 and held various roles at Mettler Toledo, including Global Stock Plan Administrator, Internal Auditor, and Financial Analyst Group Controlling, from July 2003 to June 2009.

Yves Sprunger's education history begins in 1993 when they attended Lycée Franco-Argentin Jean Mermoz in Buenos Aires and earned their Baccalauréat. Yves also obtained a Bachillerato Argentino from the same institution. From 1997 to 2003, Yves attended the University of St.Gallen, where they pursued a degree in Finanzen Rechnungswesen Controlling. In 2004, they enrolled in ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) and completed their Chartered Certified Accountant (ACCA) degree in 2006. In 2007, Yves attended The Institute of Internal Auditors IIA and received their certification as a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA).
