Liz Kauffman

Liz Kauffman is an experienced science project manager with a strong background in logistics and operational management in polar environments. Currently serving as the Science Project Manager at Polar Field Services, Inc. since September 2021, Kauffman was previously the Science Implementation Manager for the Antarctic Support Contract with Leidos/Lockheed Martin, overseeing laboratory management at McMurdo Station. Prior experience includes leading the Air Operations team at Raytheon Polar Services, successfully managing aviation logistics for numerous scientific projects, and contributions in scheduling and resource management. Kauffman's career began with roles in IT training and project coordination, supported by a Bachelor of Arts in English from Fort Lewis College.
