Ruben A. Romero Alvarez

Ruben A. Romero Alvarez began their career in 2020 as a Support Engineer at Polar, a company providing advertising technology solutions to hundreds of trusted publishers globally. In 2021, they joined Nova as a Software Engineer/Developer, and then transitioned to a Support Engineer role at Nova Social Display, a company spun out of Polar that same year. At Nova, Ruben's mission was to build bridges, not walls, helping brands and agencies repurpose social creative built for walled gardens like Facebook and Instagram to run programmatically, at scale, on the open web.

Ruben A. Romero Alvarez attended the University of Toronto, where they completed a Computer Science Specialist Program with a focus on Artificial Intelligence. Ruben A. also earned a B.A.Sc in Mechanical Engineering, with a focus on Mechatronics, Solid Mechanics & Machine Design and a Minor in Robotics.
