Han-Wei Chiang is a Principal Technology Development Engineer at Polar Semiconductor since July 2023, with a strong background in process development and engineering. Prior experience includes serving as a Staff Process Development Engineer at ams OSRAM from July 2019 to July 2023, where VCSEL technology for 3D sensing and lidar applications was developed. At Intel Corporation, from December 2014 to June 2019, Han-Wei Chiang focused on developing advanced CMOS technology and process flows for manufacturing cutting-edge CPUs, contributing to significant revenue. As a Graduate Student Researcher at UC Santa Barbara from September 2009 to November 2014, effort was dedicated to the fabrication and characterization of THz InP DHBTs. Han-Wei Chiang holds a Ph.D. and a Master of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from UC Santa Barbara, and a Bachelor of Science in Materials Science and Engineering from National Taiwan University.
